Elon Musk presenting a new gesture interface, ultimately meant for engineering purposes. It’s still a long way to go, but it is an interesting possibility and one more early bird of what may become an enhanced reality era.
This is pretty fascinating…and takes potential of 3D printing to a whole new level. Think about what this could imply for the thousands of CADD jockeys out there. Does this truly allow anyone to design a rocket nozzle? What changes in the technician’s skill set? Do we still have design technicians— people who do the intermediary work between the design and the product?
